Day 2:

Before we leave for the desert, we do some cultural sightseeing: In the morning we visit the Isis temple on Philae Island and the Kalabsha temple near Lake Nasser with a professional guide (egyptologist). On the way back we visit the High Dam of Lake Nasser and the Unfinished Obelisk. Late afternoon we go on board a felucca for a sailing trip by sunset (famous in Aswan!). We finish the day with a welcome dinner in the restaurant of guesthouse Bet el Kerem.

Day 3/6:

After enjoying breakfast on the roof terrace, we leave for the desert on a camel; the beginning of the safari. We travel southwards. The next days you will discover the surprising varied desert landscape from south (the Aswan Dam) to north (the Kubaniya district).

Day 7:

We exchange the desert for the water and the camel for a boat: a relaxed day sailing, picknick and swimming in the Nile if you like. In the Nubian village Nagh el Kuba dinner is ready.

Day 8:

In the morning possibility to do some shopping in the market of Aswan on the East bank. In the afternoon we visit the Nubian museum. The tour ends with a dinner in Nubian house; a perfect location with marvellous view over the Nile valley and the first cataract.
